What you will be doing
You’ll be joining the in-house development team to deliver on large scale, international eCommerce projects. You’ll be encouraged to put forward ideas and bring your passion to the table, finding new and innovative solutions to our client’s problems. Your voice and ideas are what make up the quality of our client’s product and they are keen to bring on a talented developer to keep pushing the company forward.
You’ll work with well-known and exciting brands, using the Magento Commerce platform to develop some top-quality projects. Ideally, you’ll have a passion for eCommerce, experience with Magento 2 and the ability to bring this together to create something that matches the exceptionalism of our client. As a part of one of the top Magento agencies in the UK, this will be a great chance to upskill, grow and contribute to a hugely successful organisation.
What experience you will need
experience coding in PHP (SOLID MVC and OO patterns)
experienced with Magento 2 +
knowledge of software engineering and software design.
experience of working with and optimising MySQL, or Percona DB databases, and creating SQL.
solid knowledge of PSR standards
worked in and are comfortable in an Agile development environment
familiar with GIT and Github
experience using PHP to consume web services (REST, SOAP, XML RPC) and building custom integrations with 3rd party services
have used composer, PHPUnit, XDebug, GIT, GitHub, Redis
maintained staging LEMP environments and are familiar with continuous testing & delivery approaches
experience of the full development life cycle from planning to coding to delivery
experience with enterprise-grade websites.
