Our client is a vibrant, local charity that has been serving the local community for over 150 years through inclusive programmes in health & wellbeing, childcare and housing and youth work. They are passionate about providing opportunities to those who are most in need.

They are recruiting for a Youth Work Manager to join their Youth Team in Woolwich. You will be responsible in managing the Youth sessions that take place at the Woolwich Youth Zone by ensuring that the work is delivered within the framework.

You will build relationships, offer informal education to young people and involve these young people in these activities. These activities will lead to increased self-esteem, confidence and community participation.

The Youth Work Manager will supervise and line manage youth workers whilst maintaining effective team working and collaborative practice within the immediate youth work team.

About You

To be eligible for this role you should have experience of working with young people aged 8+ as well as experience in planning and developing programmes of work with young people.


19 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (including evenings, occasional weekends and detached youth work).
